The Lamborghini SC63 introduces the KW V6 Formula Racing CPR Heave and V5 Formula Racing CPR Roll dampers from the innovative KW Formula series. Based on through-rod technology, these dampers cater specifically to prototype sports cars, including Le Mans hypercars, LMDh hypercars, and formula cars.
The continuous piston rod design of the V6 and V5 dampers nullifies gas expansion force and minimises hysteresis, ensuring stable ride height even under extreme conditions. The V6 CPR Heave damper boasts five-way adjustability, allowing precise tuning of compression and rebound parameters. Additionally, an adjustable blow-off valve in the compression direction and a click mechanism for spring preload adjustments offer unparalleled control over the vehicle's handling.
The V5 CPR Roll damper, adjustable in three ways, ensures uniform functionality in low-speed, high-speed, and blow-off directions for both compression and rebound. The dampers' slim design is optimised for weight, complying with the strict regulations of the LMDh prototype sports car.
