Racer Products Supports Arise Racing GT for the 2026 Season
Racer Products is proud to continue its partnership with Australian GT powerhouse Arise Racing GT as they prepare for the 2026 Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour at Mount Panorama this weekend.
With support from global powerhouse OMP, and as the exclusive OMP distributor for New Zealand, Racer Products begins its second-year partnership by supplying custom driver race suits and underwear to Arise Racing GT and its sister team, Ziggo Sport Tempesta, as well as crew wear including suits, boots, gloves, and underwear. This season the partnership extends to include custom team jackets, polos, and t-shirts, to ensure the entire Arise Racing GT and Ziggo Sport Tempesta teams are the best-looking race teams on the grid!
OMP 2026 Technology at the Bathurst 12 Hour
Arise Racing GT and Ziggo Sport Tempesta drivers will be driving in OMP’s latest-generation racewear, including the new-for-2026 One Art suits. The updated suits feature advanced materials that deliver approximately 40% increased breathability and 15% weight reduction over the previous model. These improvements will play a crucial role during extended endurance events, where driver comfort, temperature regulation, and fatigue management directly impact performance and success at The Mountain.
OMP safety equipment is trusted globally by leading motorsport programmes, including factory teams across endurance racing and Formula 1. Importantly for New Zealand competitors, this same professional-level equipment is available through Racer Products, and is already worn by racers across karting, track-day, grassroots and professional categories nationwide.
Who, When and Where to Watch
Arise Racing GT heads into the Bathurst 12 Hour campaign on the back of a successful 2025 season with a strong driver line-up in the highly competitive and purpose-built Ferrari 296 GT3. The team narrowly missed out on securing the overall Bathurst 12 Hour title in 2025, but won the Pro-Am division on debut and enters Bathurst with genuine expectations of fighting for an outright win in 2026.
The Bathurst 12 Hour remains one of the world’s most demanding endurance races. You’ll see elite international drivers, factory-supported teams, and the unique challenge of racing at one of motorsport’s most iconic circuits. The 2026 event promises another high-speed spectacle, with qualifying beginning Saturday afternoon and the race commencing early Sunday morning.
New Zealand fans can follow the action live via Sky Sport, with full race coverage beginning Sunday morning. Selected practice and qualifying sessions will also be streamed via official Bathurst 12 Hour digital platforms.
