The high-quality PyroCell Elite fuel cells from Pyrotect is the top of the line fuel cells made out of ultra-durable double-coated urethane fabric with internal foam baffling and with the integrated CFC Unit from Nuke Performance, which eliminates the need for an external surge tank which is needed when running a traditional fuel cell setup, it is a perfect use for fuel injected systems. The fuel cell is safe for all types of fuels, including ethanol, and methanol.

The Pyrotect Elite Fuel Cell with the Nuke Performance CFC Unit comes delivered with the unique Nuke Performance Competition Fuel Cell Unit as a fill plate replacement. The CFC Unit is the perfect solution for a simplified high performing fuel system where safety is of uttermost importance. With the integrated drop-in surge tank, this setup eliminates the need for a space-consuming external surge tank. With all the needed fuel pumps mounted within the fabric fuel bladder itself, this is the only thing you need. This frees up space and weight and increases safety as fewer fuel line fittings are necessary and no external fuel pumps are used.

The Pyrotect Elite Fuel Cells are delivered with the unique Nuke Performance CFC Unit with an integrated Fuel Surge Tank and Fuel Pump Hanger function and fit a single or dual high-pressure fuel pump from Deatschwerks, AEM, Ti Automotive, Walbro, Bosch, Fuelab, Aeromotive, and many more. It fits all common 39mm fuel pumps as well as the larger Deatscherks DW400, Walbro GST400/450/520, Bosch BR540, and Aeromotive Stealth 450. One fuel pump is mounted within the fuel cell, mounted to a height-adjustable aluminum mount, and one or two fuel pumps mount to a billet aluminum mount within the surge tank. This solution is ready to deliver steady fuel flow for demands anywhere between 200-2000 horsepower without fuel starvation, even during demanding driving conditions thanks to the internal surge tank and the Pyrotect internal foam baffling.

How to mount fuel pumps within the Pyrotect Pyrocell Elite?
The single fuel pump mounted in the fuel bladder functions as a pickup fuel pump that ensures that the high-pressure fuel pumps within the oversized 2 liters (0.53 gallons) surge tank always have sufficient fuel to maximize fuel flow and minimize the risk of starvation that can seriously harm your engine. The CFC Unit is delivered with everything you need to install the fuel pumps of your selection, but we recommend adding one of our fuel pump mounting kits for optimal functionality. All fuel pumps are securely mounted in all conditions thanks to the billet fuel pump brackets.

The Nuke Performance CFC Unit - Low profile Competition Fuel Cell Unit, with an integrated fuel surge tank, is now equipped with ORB threads. The AN-10 ORB outlet port and the AN-8 ORB return port lets you choose from a wide range of different available ORB fittings. The use of the oversized, high-flow AN-10 ORB outlet combines the internal fuel pumps into one single fuel line and minimizes the need for external equipment, hoses, and fittings. The included rollover-protected vent fitting is of AN-6 (3/4 UNF) and can be swapped for AN-6 to AN-10 when needed. Outlet and return AN-6, AN-8, AN-10, and AN-12 fittings are sold separately as accessories.

The Fuel Cell Vent Kit AN-6 fits straight to the vent valve of the CFC Unit for easy installation.
The CFC Unit is equipped with a roll-over protected AN-8 (3/4 UNF) to AN-6 Male vent fitting, and the easiest way to route the vent line into a safe and functional position is to accommodate a fuel cell vent kit from Nuke Performance. Available in several sizes, from AN-6 to AN-12, you can choose the kit that suits your needs the best. If you want to use a larger vent line than AN-6, you also need to swap the fitting on the vent valve, view the assortment here. The vent kit is delivered with a 1m (3.3ft) nitrile fuel hose and a universal air filter that prevents debris to get into your fuel system.

When safety and functionality are top priorities, choose the Full Foam Baffled Fuel Cell with durable double-coated fabric bladder- the lightest on the market.
The American-made Pyrotect Elite fuel cells come with modified internal foam baffling from the fabrication line, modified to the needs of mounting the Nuke Performance CFC Unit. The durable urethane bladder, wrapped in a lightweight aluminum housing, is much safer than simpler solutions such as saver cells and welded aluminum cells. The Pyrotect Elite series are among the safest fuel cells on the market today and developed from a long history of professional motorsports. Equipped with Ultra Durable Double Coated Urethane Fabric Bladder and aluminum container, it is available in several different sizes, from 8 to 26 gallons (30 to 98 liters). And with the Nuke Performance CFC Unit, the only thing you need between the fuel cell and the engine is a fuel filter, just as in a stock fuel setup. The internal bladder is fully safe for all types of fuels, but if being used with alcoholic fuel it should not be left for a long time storage without being rinsed with non-alcoholic fuel first.

All Pyrotect fuel cells are manufactured to order, this makes it possible to guarantee the current FIA approval and prevents you get your hands on an old and stored bladder. Delivery time is around 4 to 6 weeks after the order is placed. We try to keep some sizes in stock, if fast delivery is required, check with us which size is available.

The Nuke Performance and Pyrotect fuel cells are an official and international collaboration between the two manufacturers. The fuel cells from Pyrotect that are made specifically for the CFC Unit have been branded with both brands. If you order a fuel cell directly from Pyrotect, make sure to tell them that it is meant to be used with the Nuke Performance CFC Unit.
